4. Cover-Up Operations

  • Epstein was registered as "Disqualified" in MIT's donor database — ignored, and funds were accepted regardless
  • Conspired with Peter Cohen to process donations in small amounts under anonymous entries, concealing them from MIT administration
  • Disguised donor identity using Bill Gates' name and others
  • Within the Media Lab, Epstein was referred to as "Voldemort" and "He Who Must Not Be Named"
  • Staff raised warnings as early as 2013 — Ito defended Epstein as "a very smart and interesting person"
